Sekhmet - the lioness headed goddess (55565)
The goddess of bravery and courage, Sekhmet was usually shown as a woman with the head of a lion or lioness. Her name means "The Powefull One". at Memphis Sekhmet was honored as the wife of the creator god Ptah. At Thebes she was worshipped as a form of Mut, the queen of the gods.
